About The Event
Tickets for this event are available for early purchase (Space is limited and this event will sell out, so purchase your ticket in advance to save your seat). Tickets cost $45 and include all your materials and a free drink $5 or under. You will be painting on a 7x24 pre-stained wood board.
It has come to my attention that some customers are having problems when they are purchasing their tickets. After some research I have found that this is happening on iOS/OS X devices (like iPhones and iPads) and potentially on Safari too. If this happens to you please try to check out on a different device. If you are still unable to register please contact me at 218-457-0899. Wix is working on this problem, so hopefully it is resolved soon.
Our painting parties are a fun and relaxing way to spend time with those you care about. All while expressing yourself in a creative way! Don't worry about setting up, getting supplies, or cleaning up! We do all of that for you! We supply everything you need, including step by step instructions. All you need to do is bring yourself and your friends. We will provide aprons for you, but you should consider wearing clothes you don't mind getting paint on. Oh, and one other thing... Be ready to paint!
We will be starting at 6:30pm. It is advised that you arrive at least 15 minutes early (this is to register, pick your seats, and get something to drink before we get started). If you would like to eat something you should come at least an hour early. Trying to eat and paint always ends with cold food or ketchup on your canvas.
To reserve your seat: Pay in advance. Our events sell out, so we cannot secure any unpaid seats.
What to expect at one of our events: Before we begin painting, there will be a short period of time to visit, get refreshments, and find your seats. We start painting at the posted time. Any one who is late will have to get caught up on their own. There will be at least one half hour drying break within the class. This is when you can get refills, use the restroom, or anything else you may need to do. While painting you will not only receive step by step instructions, you will get additional assistance with techniques, brush strokes, and color mixing. At the end of class you will bring your artwork home with you!
We do not offer refunds for our tickets. If you are unable to make it to an event you can use your ticket for a future event (if there is a difference in price you will need to pay the difference, or forfeit any overages). To allow us time to fill your seat, we need to know of your absence at least 48 hours in advance. If you did not notify us of your absence in that time you may not use your ticket for a future event. Our ticket will remain transferable however, and you may find someone to take your ticket.
For each event we need to sell at least 5 tickets.
If we are unable to sell 5 tickets for this (or any of our events), we will have to cancel the event. If this happens you will be left with a couple options:
A) We can issue you a gift certificate for the amount you paid for your ticket(s). This gift certificate will be usable with any Painted Turtle event! (Including face painting)
B) You can host a private event, and use your ticket to pay for yourself (with private events we
need at least 5 painters)
C) If your event was a wood sign, we can make you the sign and send it to you through the mail.
D) You can use your ticket to attend any of our other events with in the next month.
